The Ivy: Dining with stars

The Ivy in Los Angeles has been a star on the LA food scene since the 1980s, combining an exciting and eclectic menu with lovely styling and interiors. Their patio is surrounded by cute white picket fences and roses bloom all over the place. The vibe and atmosphere is really nice and they know how to good care of their customers.

When I was there I wanted to try their Seafood spaghetti but with gluten free pasta, and that was no problem at all.  For dessert I went for their massive ‘Killer Banana Split’, with praline, stracciatella, strawberry and vanilla gelato, berries, pineapple and banana, hot fudge and butterscotch sauces and whipped cream. Needless to say the food was amazing!

But The Ivy is not just known for their great food. It’s also a classic celebrity hotspot in Hollywood and when I was there I ran into JLo and Ben Affleck. She smelled gorgeous but I didn’t get a chance to ask what perfume she wore (hehe).

So if you’re into great food, gorgeous styling and fun celeb spotting, The Ivy should be on your must-visit list the next time you’re in LA!
