Best Brunch in Venice: Top 4
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, they say. Some people start the day with a huge cup of coffee, but I’m absolutely not that type. I want my breakfast (or brunch) to be healthy and fresh, and I’m always looking for new places where I can start the day the right way.
Here’s my list of current fav brunch places in Venice, LA. Bon appétit!

If the name makes you think of meat, think again. This is actually a plant-based restaurant & café. But they are - in their own words - a “vegetable slaughterhouse”, since they treat fruits and vegetables just as a butcher would treat meat. They chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into tasty juices.
The Butcher’s Daughter can be found at two locations in LA (Venice and West Hollywood) and three in NYC (Williamsburg, Nolita & West Village). And don’t worry if you like to sleep in, they serve breakfast all day long - and have plenty of other great green dishes too – including many gluten free options.
When I was there I had their gluten free coffee cake. Mmmm.
If you crave a Mexican brunch, try Saby’s Café on Venice Boulevard. They serve modern Mexican food and ‘colorful soul food’. Really good!
The Pacific Ocean is never far away in these parts of LA, so why not slide over to Blueys for a brunch with a casual vibe of beach lifestyle.
Their food philosophy focuses on locally sourced produce, seasonal cooking and healthy eating. And their gluten free pancakes are to die for!!
This is more of a dinner place, but I just had to include because it’s actually a great place for brunch too. They serve rustic organic pies and crispy sourdough pizzas with lots of Italian cheeses, local ingredients and seasonal products. When I was there I had a gluten free pizza and it was super delicious.
Southend has a great vibe about it and is really cozy. And if you’re into wine you’ll love their wine list, hand-picked by the founder Mario Vollera.
