You already know I love Japanese themed restaurants and when I travel I always try to find the best ones wherever I go. On my latest trip to Jakarta I visited many great restaurants but my favourite was Miss Fish, located in the sophisticated district of Senopati and helmed by the well-known Chef Carlos Barvo Vilasaló

At Miss Fish you can experience Omakase, the Japanese dining experience where the chef creates a carefully curated and personalized meal for the guests. But Miss Fish has a twist, cause they specialize in a seamless blend of authentic Japanese cuisine with dynamic Latin American and European influences. You could say the cuisine is rooted in classic Japanese culinary techniques but performed with a twist. A fusion of flavours!

And since it’s Omakase, each dish is not just a meal – it’s like a narrative of global gastronomy, a fascinating trip for both the soul and the taste buds.
