The search for beauty

In my work I have to deal with lots of prejudice because people tend to see models as shallow, simply because we work with beauty. But I believe things like fashion, beauty and art can help us being better humans. Beauty is not shallow, beauty transcends the boundaries of everyday life. It makes us see the world’s – and our own - potential.

I feel better when I enjoy beauty, no matter if it’s in a museum or in Nature. A Cathedral can be like a forest of beauty and a forest can be a Cathedral of beauty. And museums can be fascinating beautiful places, like the iconic British Museum in London where we shot these pictures.

It’s all about to be open to the experience. To take time to reflect. To allow yourself to be human.

That’s also why I love art. Art is a gateway, a way to see things from different perspectives. Art gives our lives meaning. And so does beauty.
