A hidden gem on The French Riviera.
Everyone who’s ever been in Saint Tropez knows that the night life can be quite intense. The town is really buzzing - especially at this time of the year - so if you’re looking for a more peaceful Riviera experience I suggest you head up the hills.
Me and my friend went to Gassin, a gorgeous gem about 4km from the coast. Perched high up on a rock, it’s sometimes referred to as the most beautiful village in France and offers amazing panoramic views of the Saint Tropez gulf, the Iles d’Or and the surrounding hills.
This day I wore a cute dress from Meshki, paired with a a very special bracelet I got from my friend Victoria who is a spiritual healer and knows how important it is to be the best version of yourself. And this day i really felt like that!
The views from Gassin are really absolutely breathtaking but the best thing about this place is just to walk around and chill, enjoying the vibe of this Mediterrenean gem. Exploring the maze of tiny streets with ancient houses is a treat and wherever you go the air is filled with a scent of Jasmine. Look for a street called l’Androuno, only 29 cm wide (!) and possibly the narrowest street in the world. I didn’t try to squeeze my way through it, but maybe you would dare to do it?
When you’re in Gassin your should obviously also enjoy the French cuisine, so we found a cosy little restaurant. The food was delicious – and so was the wine. And that inspired us to plan a visit to a wine yard in the area.
I’ll tell you all about it in my next blog post.
