Quality Facetime
Keeping your skin healthy is key if you want to keep a fresh look, maybe especially when it comes to the face. Excessive use of makeup can dry out you skin so be sure to give your face some extra love every evening.
I use the Gua Sha massage technique in my evening routine, but instead of using the soft edged tools traditionally used in this ancient Chinese practice I use my hands to gently massage my face, preferably with perfecting oil from Monday’s Child Skincare.
Here are the steps
Start with clean hands and a clean face.
Apply a facial oil or moisturizer to create some slip for your hands.
Begin with your neck and move your hands upward, gently rubbing in an upward and outward motion.
Gradually move up to your jawline, cheeks, and forehead, always using upward and outward strokes.
Use gentle pressure to encourage lymphatic drainage without causing discomfort.
This technique can help stimulate blood flow, release muscle tension, and potentially assist with lymphatic drainage.

Love your face, it’s your best friend!
