The rooftops of Milan

Italy is one of my favourite destinations in Europe and if you’re looking for Fashion, Food & Fun then Milan should definitely be on your go to list.

I’ve always loved rooftop bars and Milan offers several rooftop options that provide stunning views of the beautiful (and huge) gothic cathedral Duomo di Milano. Here are a few recommendations:

Terrazza Aperol: Located on top of the historic Palazzo Settimanni, Terrazza Aperol offers a fantastic view of the Duomo. This rooftop bar is known for its vibrant atmosphere and signature Aperol Spritz cocktails.

Duomo 21 Terrace: Situated on the 21st floor of the iconic Excelsior Hotel Gallia, the Duomo 21 Terrace provides a panoramic view of the city, including the magnificent Duomo. It’s a great spot to enjoy a drink or a meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Ceresio 7 Pools & Restaurant: This trendy rooftop bar and restaurant, located near Porta Garibaldi, offers not only a great view of the Duomo but also two swimming pools. Enjoy the chic ambiance, sip on a cocktail, and indulge in the delicious food while admiring the cityscape.

Lastly where I went La Rinascente: The department store La Rinascente features a rooftop terrace with a bar and restaurant. From here, you can enjoy a close-up view of the Duomo and the bustling Piazza del Duomo. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxing break during a shopping spree.

Remember to check the opening hours and make reservations if required, as these places can be quite popular. Enjoy your visit to Milan and the splendid view of the Duomo di Milano!
