Bring out your inner movie star

Inspiration is key in fashion, not just for those who design and create the clothes but also for us who wear them. I love the creative process of composing the perfect look for any occasion, and maybe especially so when I’m traveling. Seeing new places can be so inspirational!

When I visited beautiful Lake Como recently, I got very inspired. It’s an amazing part of Italy, with gorgeous sceneries, charming towns and elegant villas with lush gardens. Wherever you look it feels like you’re in a movie, and that became my inspiration for two outfits.

First I went for a casual sporty look, a cute short white skirt and a top with classic tennis vibes. It was the perfect outfit for strolling around in the gardens, pretending to look for a tennis court but in reality just scouting for the perfect café and a glass of bubbly.

The movie vibes also inspired me to jump on that funny Wes Anderson trend, so I did my very own Wes Anderson film.

In the afternoon I went for an outfit that truly brought out my inner movie star. The gorgeous design of this dress has that right vibe of luxurious dreamy holidays and was perfect for a late afternoon drink at the beautiful villa I visited.
